Verify your Age

Scan or take a picture of your driver’s license/passport to show that you are 18 years or older

Find your Highschool Diploma

Scan or take a clear picture of your Canadian Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or GED,  Certificate of Apprenticeship or Certificate of Qualification in a trade.

Check Your Tech!

All students are required to meet the minimum Technology Requirements

You must get your assessment from an organization or a professional body designated by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada. They will give you a report that tells you what your education is equal to in Canada.

Processing times and costs may vary by organization or professional body.

Once you choose a designated organization or a professional body, they will tell you how to submit your documents to get your assessment.

If you have completed equivalent courses or are a licensed electrician in Canada, you may be eligible for exemptions from CFAA Courses 2, 3, and 4 in the Canadian Fire Alarm Technology Program. (Note: Courses 1 & 5 must still be completed in sequence.)

Submit your transcripts to CFAA for review any possible exemptions.

This program satisfies the Theory training requirements of the Canadian Fire Alarm Association (CFAA) for registration as a Registered Fire Alarm Technician and is approved as a vocational program under the Ontario Career Colleges Act, 2005.
