Randy Panesar, Liberty Fire Consulting and Education
Randy Panesar, B.Ed (Adult Education), M.Ed (Higher Education Leadership), NFPA 1031, NFPA 1035, Partial NFPA 921, is a Professor and Coordinator of the Fire Prevention and Technology program at Durham College. He holds a Bachelor of Education in Adult Education and a Master of Education in Higher Education Leadership from the University of Toronto, where his graduate work focused on leadership in Canadian post-secondary education.
Randy is also the founder of Liberty Fire Education and Consulting, an organization dedicated to advancing fire and life safety through training, consulting, and professional education. Recognized for his expertise in fire prevention, code compliance, and human behaviour in fire, he has presented at major industry conferences and is regarded across North America as a leader in fire and life safety education. A strong believer in the power of education, Randy also founded international scholarship initiatives that provide orphaned students with the opportunity to pursue post-secondary diplomas and degrees. By blending deep technical knowledge with advanced adult learning strategies, he equips both students and professionals with the tools to excel in the fire and life safety field.
