How to Register
Please note this is a first-come first-serve registration.
Are you a Vocational or a Non-Vocational Student?
Vocational Students are defined as:
- When your training will be over $1,999 AND paid for by: You yourself, or Family members, or A personal education savings plan
- Your training will be covered under the requirements of the Ontario Career Colleges Act, 2005
- You register for the entire 5-module program, less any exemptions to which you are entitled, but not exceeding 3 exemptions.
Registration Process
- Complete, sign and send the Vocational Contract to
- Send required pre-admission documentation listed on Page 3 of the contract to
- Send an e-transfer of your deposit listed on Page 5 of the contract to
Non-Vocational Students are defined as:
- If your training will be UNDER $2,000 OR paid for by: Your employer, or Your union, or Your industry association, or A government job grant
- Your training will be NOT be covered under the requirements of the Ontario Career Colleges Act, 2005
Registration Process
Exemptions or Advanced Standing Requests
- To request approvals for Exemptions or Advanced Standing on Course 2, 3, 4, you will need to work directly with the CFAA Exemption Team.
- Once you receive your exemption/advanced standing approval from CFAA, please send the document to as we are required to file it in your student file.
HSMC Exemption Policy
- Health and Safety Management College (HSMC) cannot guarantee your exemption request.
- All exemption requests will need to be filed at least 4 weeks prior to the start of the program. Mid-program exemption request cannot be accomodated.
- In the event the student’s exemptions have not been processed or approved 4 weeks prior to the start of the program, the student will be responsible to complete any required courses.
- Non-refundable.
